THE VILULA TEA GARDEN
...it was a little tea room in my memories...ladies wearing white gloves and pretty hats; soft and mended old linens on the tables; and heirloom roses in crystal vases....lovely.

Spring Spring, It's slmost Spring!
I feel like putting on my shorts, grabbing my honey, and going for a ride! How about you? What feels like Spring to you?
I really have enjoyed having the doors open and feeling the fresh air on my face. My hairy children have enjoyed laying in the sunshine on the screened porch...this is Rufus and Roxy posing for you!
Believe it or not, 'gators remind me of Spring...I love to see them on the banks of Lake Walter F. George in South Georgia, this time of year. What can I say, I love them; I don't get in the water with them though, teehee!

The first green leaf shoots decorating bare twigs, I've spent the last few weeks looking for them while dog walking, there's something totally joyous about that shade of green!
ReplyDeleteHave SERIOUS dog envy going on!!x
"'gators" sound so exotic for a Norman girl like me
ReplyDelete@Ali - yes, I love that color green! The doxies are a hoot! I have two other babies, too...a schnauzer and a basenji-mix. They are too precious...you can see them on Flickr-nursdurkin.
ReplyDelete@Marie-Noelle-they are exotic! I love all reptiles and amphibians, too...lizards, frogs, snakes(non-poisonous, of course)...I am insane!
ReplyDeleteI think Rufus just looks TOO handsom for his own good!! What a profile! One day I too WILL own a very long dog!X
ReplyDeleteBe ready for some mischief! Doxies are a handful, but I wouldn't trade them for anything! By the way, Rufus had a Myspace page for awhile, but his many fans disturbed his sense of peace and he is on sabbatical for a time...
